Nathaniel has worked as a full-time grant writer since 2011 and has helped numerous deserving organizations secure the funding their programs need. His grant writing service primarily supports educational initiatives that have the potential to yield a high return on investments for the participants in said initiatives and for their communities as a whole. Although, principally a grant writer, his formal educational background is in science and engineering. He worked as a nuclear engineering technologist for the US Navy; studied chemical engineering at the University of California, Berkeley; and applied mathematics at Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He also has certificates in data analysis and program evaluation, while also working as a neurofeedback technician to help students with learning disabilities.
When he learned of synEd’s mission and vision, he eagerly joined to help however he could.
