BUSINESS INFORMATION WORKER DIGITAL MEDIA AND INFORMATION & COMMUNICATION

SynED is pleased to submit this report to Wendy Porter, Regional Director of ICT & DM for Far North Region, covering course offerings in ICT (Information Communication Technology), DM (Digital Media), and BIW (Business Information Worker) in community colleges throughout the Far North Region which include Butte College, Feather River College, Lassen College, Mendocino College, College of the Redwoods, Sierra College and College of the Siskiyous.

The intention of this report is to assess and analyze offerings in the region of the following programs:

Business Information Worker (BIW)

Digital Media (DM) and

Information and Communications Technology (ICT)

This report draws from multiple sources generally available and supplements with findings from surveys and interviews with regional faculty, business and administrators. This report will assist the Regional Director to gauge the relative standing of the regional output of BIW, DM and ICT for employment and community support.
